Princess Catherine drew praise from royal fans for her appearance at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance on Saturday night in London. The 44-year-old joined the King and Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and other members of the Royal Family at the Royal Albert Hall for the annual event.
Recycled dress and regimental brooch
She wore a recycled black, polka-dot dress by Alessandra Rich, paired with the Irish Guards Regimental Brooch in her role as Colonel. Fans shared their admiration on social media after her appearance. One fan commented on X: "Always beautiful and so fashionably on point!" followed by red heart emojis. A second wrote: "Beautiful Catherine [red-heart emoji]." A third added: "Lovely as always." A fourth commented: "Gorgeous stunning," with a fifth saying: "She looks good [pink-heart emoji]."
Sentimental nod to the late Queen
Catherine also made a sentimental nod to the late Queen Elizabeth by wearing a pair of earrings that belonged to the late monarch and are estimated at £100,000. She completed her look with a poppy by Izzy Ager of Lock & Co., who recently graduated from The Royal School of Needlework. All proceeds are donated to The Poppy Appeal.
Remembrance Sunday service
Catherine also attended today's annual National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph. She joined the Queen on the balcony during the service, wearing a black Catherine Walker coat and a Jane Taylor hat. Her earrings, estimated at up to £35,000, held particular significance as she wore Diana's iconic Collingwood pearl-and-diamond drop earrings. These were gifted to Diana ahead of her wedding to the then-Prince Charles in 1981. Catherine continued her tradition of wearing three red poppies this Remembrance Sunday, after surprising fans last year by wearing only one.
