A statement revealing the happy news read: "The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis were blessed, on 14 August 2026, with twin baby girls."
The statement continued: "The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to Princess Iman and Mr. Jameel, as well as to Their Majesties King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this happy occasion."
Wedding and family background
Princess Iman of Jordan wed Venezuelan venture capitalist Jameel Alexander Thermiotis in a classically romantic ceremony, which was attended by their closest family and friends, on March 12, 2023. The then-26-year-old arrived arm-in-arm with her older brother, Crown Prince Hussein.
Following the wedding, including pictures from the day in her post, Queen Rania wrote: "Iman, I pray this next chapter in your life brings you as much joy, love, and laughter as you have brought us over the years. Congratulations to the bride and groom!"
