Princess Beatrice was seen for the first time since her birthday last week as she stepped out to represent her mother, Sarah Ferguson, at a poignant event on Friday. The 38-year-old royal attended the funeral of Paddy McNally at St James's Church in Sevenhampton, standing alone during the service of remembrance, which began at 10.30 am.
Representing Her Mother
Beatrice was not accompanied by her husband or her mother, who was Paddy's ex. It is believed she attended the funeral to represent Sarah, who is still keeping a low profile following last year's scandals surrounding the Epstein Files.
Beatrice wore all black for the funeral and was spotted walking through the churchyard, as reported by Hello Magazine. It is believed she was fond of Paddy, whom Sarah dated before marrying Prince Andrew.
Sarah and Paddy's Friendship
Sarah and Paddy always remained friends, and it is believed they were still in touch up until his death at the age of 88 this summer. As Paddy owned a number of properties, including chalets in the Swiss ski resort Verbier, it is rumoured he had organised the chalet where Sarah was discovered to be staying earlier this year.
It is believed he has also left her some money following his death.
Sarah's Whereabouts
It is unknown where Sarah currently is, but it is rumoured she may be in Portugal with her daughter Princess Eugenie, who gave birth to a baby girl just weeks ago.
