The Princess of Wales has been named the most popular member of the Royal Family in a new YouGov poll, with a net approval rating of 61 percent. Kate Middleton is liked by 71 percent of Britons and disliked by just 13 percent, maintaining the same score as in May.
Princess Anne has surged into second place, edging out Prince William. The Princess Royal holds a net approval rating of 60 percent, with 70 percent viewing her favourably and 13 percent unfavourably. Prince William follows closely with 59 percent net approval, as 73 percent like him and 18 percent do not.
The poll, conducted on August 14-15 and published on August 30, shows Kate is popular across all age groups, scoring 41 percent among 18-24 year olds, 68 percent among 25-49s, 83 percent among 50-65s, and 89 percent among over 65s. William also enjoys strong support, with ratings of 48 percent, 71 percent, 81 percent, and 88 percent respectively.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain among the least popular royals, with net favourability scores of minus 30 and minus 40 respectively. However, Meghan is notably popular among 18-24 year olds, with a net approval of +18, just two points below William's +20 in that age group. Prince Andrew is the least favourite royal, with a net favourability of minus 82.
