Prince Louis was the picture of cheer in a Beicio Cymru bucket hat as he arrived at the Hydro arena in Glasgow for a Commonwealth Games netball semi-final with his family.
The eight-year-old joined Prince William and Kate - known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland - along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The outing was the children's first official visit to Scotland and came ahead of George, 13, starting at Eton College in September.
Meeting the medallists
After the match, crowds cheered as the family left the stadium and met para powerlifting gold medallist Mark Swan and gymnast Reuben Ward on the arena's concourse.
Ward, a Scottish athlete, told PA: "Coming into the Games, I was just hoping for the best and hopefully I could get some medals. Being in a position where I'm being chosen to meet the Prince of Wales, it's just a strange but incredible experience."
Commonwealth Games mascot Finnie was seen high-fiving George, Charlotte and Louis before giving the Princess of Wales a fist bump.
A day of cycling and royalty
The family of five then headed to the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow's East End to watch cycling and met the venue's namesake.
King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Duke of Edinburgh, vice patron of Commonwealth Sport, have also attended this year's Games.
William and Kate are also set to meet athletes supported by the charity SportsAid, of which Kate has been a patron since 2013, along with participants in the Team England Futures project.
