Prince Harry reportedly has a plan to partially return to the royal fold – but it is exactly what the late Queen Elizabeth II did not want him to do. When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their roles as senior working royals in 2020, the Queen warned them that their preference of being "half-in, half-out" was not something she would accept.
However, new reports are claiming that the Duke of Sussex, 41, is planning to do it anyway and is hoping to return to the UK on a "semi-permanent" basis. Mark Dolan made the claims on his show, explaining that his "good friend" Richard Fitzwilliams shared news of Harry's plan on Sky News Australia.
Claims of Harry's Plan
He said: "Richard Fitzwilliams, who is a brilliant journalist and a very good friend of mine, he is very confident that Harry is obsessed 24/7 with getting back into the Royal Family and coming back to the UK on a semi-permanent basis."
"So, Richard Fitzwilliams is very clear that this is a plan. He said how this plan is executed is anyone's guess but he's spoken to Sky News Australia and he has said that this is what Harry's going to do."
Mark declared: "He's going to tear up his agreement with Elizabeth. He's basically going to be on palace property, Buckingham Palace, Highgrove House, Balmoral, the Sandringham estate, and he's going to seek to be a semi-member of the royal family again."
"Now, Richard Fitzwilliams is an honest guy. He's got integrity. He's got knowledge. He's well-connected. So, be afraid. Be very afraid."
Criticism from Royal Commentator
Last month, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield slammed Harry and Meghan for repeatedly disrespecting the late monarch. Speaking to Kevin O'Sullivan on TalkTV, Kinsey said: "When it comes to Harry's pursuit of the half in half out, I think that that is desperately what he wants. I haven't seen anyone else or any other couple try to put words or change history when it comes to Queen Elizabeth more than Harry and Meghan."
"They put words in this deceased woman's mouth. Harry speaks about her in a way that I find completely disrespectful considering the fact that she's gone and she isn't here to defend herself or say that's not true."
She added: "Harry and Meghan continue to put words in this woman's mouth and continue to try to say that they had a relationship with Queen Elizabeth that they simply didn't have."
"At the end of the day, she made it clear to us she did not want these people half-in, half-out. And it should be period, end of story. They can't keep trying to change history!"
