Prince Harry has penned the foreword for the latest Travalyst Progress Report, marking his continued commitment to sustainable tourism as he prepares to return to the UK next month. The Duke of Sussex, 41, founded Travalyst in 2019 with the mission to make travel more environmentally friendly, and the report, released today, outlines key advancements made throughout 2025.
Travalyst's Progress and Harry's Words
In his foreword, Harry wrote: "...I'm so proud of the contribution that everyone in the Travalyst community has made this year. This work has never mattered more, and we will continue, together, to make it count." The report includes updates on initiatives such as the Data Hub, the Certifications initiative, and the continued development of the Travel Impact Model, which has been developed by Google in collaboration with Travalyst.
Upcoming UK Visit for Invictus Games
Harry, who stepped down from royal duties in 2020, is set to visit the UK next month with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five. The trip is to attend the one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham next July. This will be the first time Archie and Lilibet have visited Britain since June 2022, when they attended the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, a visit that also coincided with Lilibet's first birthday.
Children's Previous UK Visit
Unlike her older brother, Lilibet was not born in the UK and had not visited or met her late great-grandmother before the summer of 2022. During that visit, Meghan and Harry reportedly requested a photograph of Archie and Lilibet with Queen Elizabeth II, but the request was denied, as detailed in Harry's 2023 memoir Spare.
