Prince Harry 'man-child' as William urged to strip titles

Prince Harry has been branded a "man-child" in a brutal takedown, as the Royal Family faces mounting pressure to finally strip the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of their royal titles. Author Robert Jobson took aim at the Duke following his latest "self-serving" interview with GQ magazine.

Mr Jobson accused Harry of deploying a "cavalier attitude" towards his family and their duty, while allowing his endless "psychodrama" to overshadow vital royal engagements.

GQ Interview Timing Criticised

The Duke's explosive GQ interview—in which he claimed to be "grieving" the loss of his family while insisting that "some people" didn't want a reconciliation to work out—landed minutes after King Charles officially welcomed the Sultan of Oman to Windsor for a historic state visit.

The timing of Harry's interview was criticised by many royal watchers, but a Sussex spokesperson later confirmed his comments on others not wanting to work things out were "absolutely not intended as a swipe at his brother or any other member of his family".

Royal Family Warned Over 'Impotent' Response

Meanwhile, Mr Jobson warned that the Royal Family is starting to look "supine" and "impotent" in the face of Harry's ongoing media blitz.

"Every time they let this man-child walk all over them, it costs them more," the royal expert wrote for The Sun.

With Prince William reportedly envisioning a future monarchy of "royalty with a small r," Mr Jobson urged the future King and reigning monarch to take decisive action against the Sussexes.

Calls to Strip Sussex Titles

Pointing out that other European monarchies, such as Sweden and Denmark, have streamlined their ranks by removing royal status from grandchildren, the author suggested the same could be done in Britain.

He said: "Strip the Sussex titles. Take them off the royal website. They don't do the work, so why are they listed beside those who do?"
