Prince Harry Flips Burgers at Warrior Games BBQ

Prince Harry got hands-on at a BBQ truck in Texas on Sunday, serving up food at the Warrior Games just hours after attending an NBA game. The Duke of Sussex flipped burgers for competitors, their families, and staff at the event, which is an adaptive sports competition for wounded, ill, and injured US service members and veterans.

The Warrior Games inspired Prince Harry to create the Invictus Games in 2014. On Day Two of the event, he not only served BBQ cooked by the United Airlines team but also presented medals to winners and met several veterans. The Fisher House Foundation, which builds comfort homes for military families, praised his involvement on social media.

The charity shared a video of the BBQ on Instagram, writing: "A special lunch came with a special surprise today. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, joined the Warrior Games Family Program, serving up BBQ to families, competitors, and staff." They noted that more than a decade after attending his first Warrior Games, Harry continues to return to the event that inspired the Invictus Games.
