Prince Harry is reportedly "desperate" to see his father as much as he can during his next UK trip, according to a source. The Duke of Sussex is expected to return to Britain in September, and it is believed he has been invited to stay at Buckingham Palace.
Improved Relations
Over the last few years, Harry's relationship with King Charles has been strained, with the prince seeing his father only a handful of times. However, their reunion at Highgrove in July, which included Harry's wife and children, appears to have improved matters. It is now believed the father and son are on better terms, with more meetings expected on future visits.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Harry being welcomed in a formal capacity (to stay at the Palace) is a significant step. He's desperate to see Charles as much as he possibly can, and is very pleased he's being welcomed back."
Future Roles
The source added: "The royals are in the process of fine-tuning certain roles within The Firm. Harry is well aware of that, and he's making moves accordingly."
Despite the invitation, Harry's position as a non-working royal remains unchanged. The prince, 41, stepped down from royal duties in 2020 alongside his wife Meghan Markle. The couple moved to California, where they bought a mansion in Montecito during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Family Visits
Harry and Meghan continue to hold their titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex, though they are not working royals. Harry has returned to the UK many times over the past six years, while Meghan's visits have been less frequent. Until July, Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet had not been in the UK since 2022, reportedly due to security concerns.
