Nicola Thorp, the former Coronation Street actress and This Morning commentator, revealed today she is pregnant with her second child.
The TV star, 37, posted a series of pictures on Instagram of her with a growing baby bump with the caption: "Sparking pregnancy rumours…"
Celebrity congratulations
Nicola's husband Nikesh Patel, 40, who appears in The Devil's Hour and Starstruck, was pictured with his hand on the bump while another shot showed her daughter kissing it.
Among the many congratulations were several celebrities. Carol Vorderman wrote: "Mahoosive congratulations missus" while Corrie's Sue Cleaver said: "V exciting. I know my god daughter will make the best big sister."

I'm A Celeb's Melvin Odoom, who is also soon to become a dad, wrote: "Snap! Congratulations!" This Morning doctor Nighat Arif added: "Wowsers!!! Massive congratulations! You guys are adorable."
Nicola rose to fame on Corrie as Pat Phelan's daughter, Nicola Rubenstein, between 2017 and 2018 but returned for some episodes the following year. She later became a commentator on This Morning, appearing alongside the likes of Nick Ferrari, before joining the Talk TV station. She also starred alongside husband Nikesh on the fifth series of Celebrity Hunter in 2023 but, like all the stars that year, was caught.
