Piers Morgan has issued a scathing three-word reaction to the news that Prince Harry and Meghan have switched their children's school. Morgan responded to the revelation that the Sussexes have withdrawn their children from their newly chosen British school, commenting: "The circus continues.."
Children Moved After Two Days Over Security
Prince Harry and Meghan decided to remove Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet from their new school after just two days due to concerns over security. The youngsters are now attending a different school, with insiders close to the couple emphasising that there were no issues with the school itself. Instead, the worries centred around the logistics and safety of transporting the children to and from school each day.
Despite their security team having vetted the school during the summer, it reportedly became challenging to travel in convoy with security vehicles just two days into the term.
Couple's Friend and Spokesman Speak Out
A friend of the couple told HELLO!: "It's a real shame, because they absolutely adored the school, the kids and their parents. It was perfect for them in every way and the children really enjoyed their time there. They really wanted to make it work, but they had to make a difficult decision based on the fact that the team couldn't make the school run operationally secure."
It is understood that following a trial session on Monday, the children will now be attending another school in the vicinity. A spokesman for Harry and Meghan said: "The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family's security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements. The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family. This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there."
Morgan's Broader Criticism
The swift relocation comes as Harry continues his battle for enhanced security protection for his family following their return to the UK. The broadside from Morgan isn't his first swipe at the couple in recent days, as he was quick to slam Meghan's latest Instagram post.
He fired off on X: "So they demand privacy and want taxpayer-funded security to protect them... while simultaneously posting footage to social media that reveals images of the children and where they're all living? [confused emoji]." Initially weighing in on the couple's relocation, the 61-year-old declared: "This has gone down like a sack of old rotting potatoes."
Morgan persists in attacking their "stinking hypocrisy", alleging that they had previously slated the monarchy and now crave the perks of royal status without the matching responsibilities.
