Before her fairytale romance with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was married to American film producer Trevor Engelson, and his alleged reaction to her new royal relationship has now come to light.

According to Bethenny Frankel, a friend and former associate of Engelson, the film producer had a brutally concise prediction when he learned his ex-wife was dating the Duke of Sussex. Frankel recounted on 'The Toast' podcast that after she texted Engelson to confirm the news, she asked him, "Do you think she's going to close?"
His reported reply was a simple yet telling: "Oh, she'll close." Frankel reiterated this remark, emphasising its significance. The prediction proved accurate when Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle in November 2017.
A Look Back at Meghan's First Marriage
Meghan Markle and Trevor Engelson's relationship began long before the royal spotlight. They started dating in 2004 and tied the knot in 2011.
