Alleged Encounter Behind Palace Doors
The prospective employee, reportedly in her early 20s, was brought in to meet Meghan, now 45, about a potential position. But instead of a conventional interview, the meeting allegedly ended almost as soon as it started.
Daily Mail columnist Sarah Vine shared the account. She claimed Meghan was sitting at her desk reviewing paperwork when the young woman entered. Meghan allegedly continued reading without acknowledging her, then looked up, briefly studied the woman, and returned to her papers.
Three-Word Dismissal
Vine quoted Meghan as telling the applicant: “You can leave.” The meeting reportedly ended before anything resembling a normal job interview took place.
The claim adds to a series of accounts about Meghan's time as a working royal. In March 2021, Harry and Meghan gave a bombshell interview to Oprah Winfrey, making several claims about their experiences within the institution.
