Meghan Markle has revealed that her "superpower" is being a mom, ahead of the release of her production company's first-ever documentary, Cookie Queens. The Duchess of Sussex, 45, appeared in a new video promoting the Archewell Productions documentary.
In the Tasty video, Meghan appeared alongside Cookie Queens director Alysa Nahmias and three Girl Scouts – Niki, Shannon-Elizabeth and Olive. The duchess was asked questions, including how she manages to be brave and what her superpower is.
Meghan's Superpower: Motherhood
Meghan, who is a mum to Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, said she thinks her superpower is "being a mom." She explained: "I feel like we have superpowers because we juggle it all. And enjoy it all with grace and grit at the same time."
Juggling Motherhood with Grace
Meghan has frequently spoken about motherhood and how busy it can be over the years. A few years ago, when her children were three and one, Meghan spoke about how it can be a "whirlwind" to look after them both and get them ready in the mornings, even with her husband Prince Harry helping.
She said in one episode of her "Archetypes" podcast: "The morning rush … for me, it's both monitors on for the kids, to hear them. Always up with Lili, get her downstairs, then half an hour later, Archie's up.
"Start doing his lunchbox right before he's up, while I have [Lili], getting her a little nibble.
"My husband's helping me get him downstairs and I make breakfast for all three of them. It's very important to me. I love doing it."
Hands-On Parenting with Support
While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are hands-on parents, they do have a nanny to help them when needed. This includes helping carry out the school runs when Harry and Meghan have busy work schedules.
