Meghan Markle “won’t hide away” in the UK, despite not yet making any public appearances, a PR expert has said.
Towards the end of August, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - alongside their two children - landed in Britain on a private jet to be whisked away to their new UK home. Since then, the family have reportedly been settling into their British abode, which is based outside of London.
The couple’s children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, have also been settling into a local school. While Meghan, 45, has shared some clips of what the family has been up to on Instagram, she has not yet made any public appearances.
Harry steps out solo
This is despite the fact her husband Harry, 42, has now stepped out a handful of times solo. While some people think this is a sign that Meghan could indeed be keeping a low profile in the UK, one PR expert said she certainly won’t be hiding away.
PR expert Dermot McNamara told New Magazine that Meghan is currently figuring out the best way to establish herself in Britain while keeping her own identity.
'She's not hiding away'
He said: "Meghan is incredibly determined and once she's decided she wants something, history suggests she'll keep pushing towards it."
He continued: "She wanted to establish herself commercially in America and she pursued that.
"If she's now decided that she wants Britain to become part of her life and career again, I don't think she's going to be easily deterred. I think that's where some of the defiance comes in, She's not hiding away."
Focus on As Ever brand
Since living in the UK, Meghan has continued to focus on her As Ever brand, which is not yet available to UK customers. She has been seen out and about with friends enjoying walks and lunches, including with her best friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, who flew in from America to see her.
