Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, made her first significant visit to the UK last month, but a new poll suggests she remains deeply unpopular with the British public. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet joined their mother on the trip, flying out to meet Prince Harry.
The family visited the King's Highgrove Estate, the Althorp Estate (the ancestral home of Princess Diana) and the Scottish Highlands. They also reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla at a country retreat.
Approval rating remains low
According to the poll, Meghan has an approval rating of just 22 per cent, with only Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's approval rating lower. The July family trip appeared to go without a hitch or controversy while the Sussexes were in the UK.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told the Mirror: "Meghan is an intelligent woman. I'm sure she is perfectly aware of her extremely low popularity in the UK. I should imagine she now views it as a lost cause and, in any case, she seems to be far happier with her sunshine life in California."

Meghan shared snapshots of the family trip on Instagram, posting a picture of Harry and the children walking through the famous tree-lined garden at Althorp Estate under the caption "Summer Holiday". Prince Archie and Harry are seen holding large bouquets of flowers as they walk ahead of Meghan and Princess Lilibet. Diana is buried on an island in the middle of the Oval Lake at her ancestral home.
Harry took Meghan to Princess Diana's grave for the first time on the 25th anniversary of his mother's death. He had flown to the UK in July for events promoting the Invictus Games in Birmingham.

During the trip, Harry also visited Birmingham Children's Hospital, where he praised the work of the WellChild charity, of which he is a patron. The Duke of Sussex was photographed hugging a nurse and commended the staff on the third day of his visit.
