Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has reportedly been spotted at an exclusive Cotswolds private members' club, days after she and Prince Harry returned to the UK. The couple relocated from Montecito to the UK late last month and have reportedly enrolled their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, in schools in Oxfordshire. The Sussexes have not made a public appearance since landing at Birmingham Airport in late August.

Reported Sighting at Soho Farmhouse

Meghan is said to have been seen at Soho Farmhouse, the ultra-luxury rural offshoot of Soho House, which is popular with A-list celebrities. Staff at the Great Tew venue reported seeing Meghan having coffee, with 'fanfare' as she enjoyed a morning drink at the Comfy Farm Lounge, according to Tom Sykes from The Royalist.

Meghan is said to be close to Soho House executive Markus Anderson and used its original location as 'her headquarters whenever she came to London', as Prince Harry wrote in his memoir. Soho House, with 46 venues worldwide, is a hit among celebrities, with sky-high membership fees and strict no-photography rules preserving privacy. Soho Farmhouse is thought to be a haunt of Cotswolds locals David and Victoria Beckham, and Paul McCartney and his daughter Stella.

King Charles Confirms Status

News of the reported sighting comes as King Charles confirmed the pair remain 'seperate' from the Royal family. He said in a letter to Government officials, the military and Lord Lieutenancies: "It is well known that in January 2020 the Duke and Duchess stepped down from undertaking representative duties on behalf of The Sovereign, and are no longer working Members of The Royal Family."

"This position, distinct from the State and Royal duties undertaken by the working Royal Family, and with the personal latitude it brings the couple in respect of financial independence and protection of their privacy as they would wish, will continue to be fully respected. It follows that there is no change to the current status of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex."
