Meghan Markle Discussed UK Trip at Dinner Party, Stewart Says

Meghan Markle was overheard discussing her recent UK trip at a dinner party in California, according to cooking legend Martha Stewart. Stewart, 85, said she attended the event last week and saw the Duchess of Sussex there.

Brief Encounter

While the two spoke only briefly, Stewart said she heard Meghan talking about her UK trip after having "just gotten back from the palace." The Duchess's visit to Britain in July reportedly included a stop at Highgrove House, King Charles's private residence, rather than a palace.

It is believed King Charles hosted the family of four for a visit that did not extend to an overnight stay. Queen Camilla was also present at the reunion, with reports suggesting she wanted to be with the King.

Speaking to People magazine, Stewart said: "I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night. We were both guests at a dinner party in California. And she had just gotten back from the palace."

She added: "I didn't talk to her really more than to say a couple words, but I know she was talking about it."

First Visit Since 2022

The Highgrove meeting marked Meghan's first time in Britain since 2022 and her first time seeing King Charles in four years. It was also the first time Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, had seen the monarch in that time. The family's meeting with the King reportedly lasted just over an hour.

Meghan has not publicly commented on the Highgrove reunion. While she shared photographs on Instagram of the family's summer holiday to Portugal and the UK, no mention or photos of Highgrove were included.
