Meghan Markle has been branded “creepy” after being accused of “copying” Princess Catherine, following her latest move. The discussion unfolded on US television host Megyn Kelly’s SiriusXM show, where she welcomed Maureen Callahan, star of The Nerve, to dissect the latest Royal Family drama. The pair soon turned to Prince Harry and Meghan’s desire to return to the UK and make amends with King Charles.
Kelly Predicts King Charles Will Allow Return
Kelly mused: “I think the King is gonna allow it, I think he’s going to let them back in, because he’s a dad. He’s a dad before he’s a king. I’ve seen it time and time again where the parents are softer when it comes to their children. It’s a sweet thing, really, that the parents love their kids and want to be connected to their kids. They wanna be connected to their grandkids.”
However, when it comes to Prince William, Kelly thinks the Sussexes will face a different challenge altogether. She added: “The siblings, less so. They see the abuse that one sibling has foisted upon the whole family and in particular on an ageing, not well father, in this case the King of England, and they’re less forgiving. I think that’s why Prince William is a hard no on letting these two back in, but I think the King is going to allow it, and right now he’s in charge.”
Callahan Accuses Sussexes of Trying to Destroy Monarchy
Callahan chimed in: “Harry and Meghan have done nothing short of attempting to bring down the British monarchy. That’s what they were trying to do: they were trying to destroy it. Those two stew and marinate in rage and resentment, and I completely think William is in the right here.”
She continued: “I think William also knows the resentment and the jealousy that Meghan harbours towards Catherine, Princess of Wales. Every time Catherine does something, wears something, issues a photograph… Meghan single white females her. It’s beyond creepy.”
