Man Trapped in Netflix Billboard for Three Days

A man has been trapped inside a Netflix billboard for three days as perplexed citizens flood social media with questions. An advertisement for the streaming platform's new thriller The Last House has been erected on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles.

The Billboard

The billboard reads: "The Last House: How long can you survive?" and is made to look like the front of a house, complete with a green front door, wood panelling and a large bay window. Inside the window, a man in a red shirt is clearly visible and has been seen gazing out at crowds as baffled onlookers watch in bewilderment from below.

Netflix released a statement saying: "He'll attempt to maintain a sense of normalcy over extended periods of time while 'stuck' in his elevated, enclosed set 30 feet above the ground at Selma Avenue and Sunset Blvd."

Social Media Reaction

The actor waved at confused onlookers walking by. X/Twitter users gathered on the social media platform to share their amazement at the impressive stunt. One person asked: "How TF was this man getting his food," while another person said: "This is dystopian." Someone else quipped: "Definitely cheaper than a studio apartment," while one Netflix fan joked that the streaming platform could "forget to let him out".

The billboard was set up on Los Angeles' Sunset Boulevard. Another tweet read: "Bro is literally living in an ad. Now imagine trying to sleep while people take selfies outside," and a second said: "That's just free accommodation, WHERE DO I SIGN UP?" A third joined in: "That billboard looks more comfy than my apartment." Other people even joked that they'd willingly take part in the crazy stunt because it "lowkey looks peaceful" up there.
