King Charles and Queen Camilla revealed as 'huge fans' of The Apprentice

King Charles and Queen Camilla are reportedly 'huge fans' of the BBC show The Apprentice, according to programme advisor Baroness Karren Brady. The 56-year-old revealed that the royal couple request previews of the series to watch candidates compete for Lord Sugar's £250,000 investment.

Speaking at the launch of the 20th series in London, Baroness Brady said: 'Two huge fans of the show are His Majesty the King and the Queen. And they ask [Lord Sugar] if they can have previews of the show. They like to watch it.' The vice-chairman of West Ham United suggested the show could capitalise on this by staging a task at a royal palace, such as Buckingham Palace.

Lord Sugar, 78, joked about a potential royal task involving his estranged son, Prince Harry, quipping: 'How about a renegotiation to bring Harry back in the fold?' Baroness Brady responded: 'Only you can do that!' The Apprentice returns for its 20th series on Thursday, 29 January at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
