Princess Kate issued a firm instruction to Prince Louis during last year's Trooping the Colour, according to a lip reader. As the Royal Family appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony, Kate told Louis to stand to attention for the national anthem.
Lip reader Jeremy Freeman told The Mirror that Louis appeared fidgety as the celebrations concluded. Kate reportedly said: 'National anthem. Louis, stand.' Louis then corrected his posture and concentrated for the anthem.
During the balcony appearance, King Charles and Prince William commented on the day's events. William said: 'Oh my word, what a day,' to which Charles replied: 'Great theatre.' The family also discussed aircraft in the flypast, with Prince George identifying a Poseidon plane.
Earlier in the day, during the carriage procession, Louis asked George: 'Should I wave?' George replied: 'It's up to you, I can't believe how sunny it is.' Louis then said 'let's do it together' before the brothers waved to the crowds.
