Jamie Oliver's eldest daughter, Poppy Honey, has become engaged to her boyfriend Ben Newman, with her proud parents sharing their delight at the news.
Celebrity chef Jamie and his wife, Jools Oliver, have been married for 26 years and, along with Poppy, are parents to Daisy, 23, Petal, 17, Buddy, 15, and River, 10.
Jools announces the news
Jools announced the happy family news on Wednesday (August 4) as she shared a video featuring pictures of the moment Newman got down on one knee at a beach.
Alongside the post, the doting mum wrote: "Our first baby Poppy Honey is getting married. We are so excited, proud and happy. Ben we all adore you."
Jools, 51, whose real name is Juliette, said Poppy and Ben met when they moved in next door to each other at university. She continued: "Little did I know as we moved Pop into her second house at university, whilst I was sweating over your shoe rack flat pack, you seemed very distracted with the boy who had just moved in next door. Five years later you had met your soul mate. So excited for the next chapter."
