Prince Harry to Take Archie and Lilibet to Diana's Grave During UK Trip
Harry to Visit Diana's Grave with Archie and Lilibet

Prince Harry will reportedly take his son Archie and daughter Lilibet to visit his mother Princess Diana's grave during their first joint UK visit in four years. The Sussexes are expected to arrive in Britain in July 2026 to attend an event marking the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

Emotional Visit to Althorp House

According to reports, Harry will take Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to Althorp House in West Northamptonshire to see Diana's grave. The visit comes days after what would have been Diana's 65th birthday on July 1. Diana was buried on an island at the estate, which is off limits to the public.

Harry was 12 when his mother died in a car crash in Paris in 1997. He has visited her grave several times and took Meghan Markle there in 2022. The children have not yet seen their grandmother's grave, but they will reportedly do so during this trip, according to The Sun.

Invictus Games and Royal Accommodation

The couple will travel to Birmingham and London for Invictus events from July 6 to 10. The Althorp Estate is closed to visitors on July 10 and 11, according to its website. Althorp is owned by Diana's brother Charles Spencer, the 9th Earl Spencer. Harry stayed at the estate in 2024 for the funeral of Lord Robert Fellowes.

In his autobiography Spare, Harry wrote about taking Meghan to Diana's grave in 2022: "No visit to this place was ever easy, but this one . . . 25th anniversary and Meg's first time. At long last, I was bringing the girl of my dreams home to meet mum."

Ahead of the family's UK visit, sources claim King Charles has offered for Harry, Meghan, and their children to stay in royal accommodation. Due to security reasons, Harry has accepted the offer to stay in Buckingham Palace, the Mirror reported. It is claimed that the family will meet King Charles during their stay. A royal source said: "Any meeting between Harry and Meghan and the King would represent a huge thawing of relations. Despite everything that has occurred in recent years, the King loves his son and daughter-in-law dearly and would relish the chance to see his grandchildren."
