Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took their two children to Scotland last month, staying on the remote island of Tanera Mor. The family sailed on a vintage Clyde puffer named Rita to explore the island's coastline, taking in its views, wildlife and sandy bays.
The 800-acre island is owned by 63-year-old Ian Wace, who has remained close to both Harry and his older brother, Prince William. The Sussexes are thought to have arrived on July 8, the day after Harry lost his High Court privacy case against the publisher of the Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday.
A well-hidden getaway
The family is believed to have stayed on one of two island ends, the North and South Ends, with both offering high levels of privacy. Despite attempts to conceal their location, The Mail on Sunday reported that Meghan may have accidentally revealed it by sharing 12 photos on her personal Instagram account under the post title 'Summer Holiday'.
Included in Meghan's post was a picture of hills and water, thought to be from their visit to Scotland.
UK and Portugal stops
As well as Scotland, the family travelled to the UK, meeting King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on July 10. That was the King's first in-person meeting with his two youngest grandchildren since 2022.
The family also spent time in Portugal last month, with reports saying they chose Portugal because it is a place where Archie and Lilibet 'can just be kids'.
