Harry and Meghan's Quiet Portugal Life Revealed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle own a home in Portugal, purchased in 2023 for an estimated £3.6 million, and now sources have shared details about their tranquil life at the European property.

Family Time in Portugal

The villa is located in the same Portuguese resort where Princess Eugenie, Harry's cousin, spends her summers. The properties are near Comporta and Melides, about an hour's drive from Lisbon. Meghan recently posted glimpses of their holiday on Instagram, showing beach outings, cobblestone streets, and local shops.

A source told People magazine: “They love Portugal because Archie and Lilibet can simply be kids. It’s always very low-key with beach days, playing and spending time together as a family.” The source added that “that kind of normal family time is really important to Harry and Meghan.”

Why Portugal?

The country offers a practical advantage: it is only a few hours from Britain, aiding Harry's efforts to stay close to his homeland and spend time with family and friends.
