Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly 'not on the same page' about where they should spend Christmas, according to Heat magazine. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been settling back into British life since moving from Montecito, California, in late August, but their return has not been smooth, with rows with the King over titles and security concerns forcing them to move their children's school after only two days.
Couple divided over festive season
Heat reports that the couple are split over their Christmas plans. A source told the magazine: "With the kids in school, they can't keep bouncing between California and the UK whenever they feel like it, so they've got some difficult decisions coming up because they are not on the same page."
Harry is said to be keen to keep the family in the UK, with the source describing the festive period as one of his favourite times of the year. Meghan, however, is reportedly feeling homesick and desperate to see her mother, Doria Ragland.
Meghan misses her mother
"[Meghan] misses her friends, she misses her day-to-day routine and she really misses her mom," the source added. "She talks to Doria every day, usually multiple times but it's not the same as spending every weekend with her."
Meghan is also reportedly not keen to spend Christmas 'making small talk' with the Royal family, and is thought to be put off by the idea of waiting for an invite to Sandringham that never comes.
Settling into British life
Despite the divide over Christmas, Meghan appears to be enjoying settling back into British life. In September, she posted a video of Archie and Lilibet playing in woodland and fishing with Harry on a boat, accompanied with a love heart and union jack emoji.
The couple were spotted in public earlier this week at The Falkland Arms pub in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, close to where the family are thought to be staying.
