Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice 'Make Major Sarah Ferguson Decision'
Eugenie and Beatrice Make Major Sarah Ferguson Decision

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice quietly met with their mother, Sarah Ferguson, in a private get-together, according to reports. The meeting has reportedly led to a harsh "reality check" for the sisters, who have faced a troubled path in the monarchy after their parents, Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, were linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.

Private Reunion and New Rental

Royal expert Phil Dampier said sources told him Ferguson had privately reunited with her daughters in her new rental in the UK. Ferguson was asked to leave her home at Royal Lodge earlier this year along with Andrew. The pair had both lived there together for decades after their divorce, having remained friends.

Ferguson reportedly headed to Europe, spending time outside of the UK for a vast proportion of the year. But she returned to the UK after nearly seven months, keeping a low profile. She is now reportedly renting a property in the Home Counties.

Harsh Realisation for the Sisters

The two princesses are reportedly not ready to associate with their parents publicly yet, but they came to a harsh realisation following the gloomy visit, sources have claimed.

"The York sisters have always been treated as a single unit for royal purposes," an insider told New Idea. However, they decided to go their separate ways and meeting their mum confirmed their decision.

"Their recent gloomy meeting with their mum made them realise they're on their own, but they have to spread their wings," the source explained. "Since becoming mums and having their own families, it just doesn't sit right, and it's incredibly inconvenient with young kids," the source continued.

Ferguson's Public Appearances and Epstein Links

Ferguson was last seen in public at the Duchess of Kent's funeral in September 2025, before being spotted at a luxury Austrian ski resort in April. She has made attempts to stay out of the public eye after the release of documents linking her to Epstein.

Millions of pages released by the US Department of Justice exposed private email exchanges between Ferguson and the convicted sex offender, revealing she called him "a supreme friend" and the "brother [she] always wished for" long after his 2008 conviction.
