Podcast host Emma Dunwell has told Prince Harry and Meghan Markle they are "not welcome" in the Cotswolds, where she was raised. Speaking on Dan Wootton Outspoken on August 27, after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the UK from Montecito, California, Dunwell said: "They're not welcome. They're not welcome, let's just get that straight."

Wootton noted that Nadine Dorries, a former cabinet minister and Reform UK senior representative, had said all the WhatsApp groups in the area "have blown up," with locals loyal to Queen Camilla, who spends considerable time there. Asked if the Cotswolds were welcoming the couple, Dunwell said: "One of the things that I miss so much about living in the countryside is you didn't really need to ask people about their political disposition. You could tell by the way of life, how people were, that it was majority Conservative. Just old school, Conservative, traditional living. That's what we need a bit of right now."
Ellen DeGeneres also targeted
Dunwell added: "While we're at it, can I just say, Ellen Degenerate is not welcome in the Cotswolds either! She can get lost. She can go back to California or wherever she's come from." She continued: "They treat everything like a popularity contest. Whether it's the big bad institution of the monarch, or 'we're just victims'… [Meghan] treats the [monarchy] like it's Big Brother, and it's just really stupid." Dunwell concluded: "She's not going to be welcome in the Cotswolds because they don't deal with woke well over there. They are just completely detached from reality, I don't think anyone cares about them. I know I don't."
