Charles's Meghan and Harry Demand Leaves William Blindsided

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly "considering a public apology" in a bid to reconcile with the Royal Family, according to fresh reports discussed on the Royals Uncensored programme.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently returned to the UK to mend relations with King Charles after stepping down from their royal duties in 2020. It was the first time Charles had seen his grandchildren Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, in four years. Harry has yet to publicly reconcile with his brother Prince William.

Commentator Calls King's Approach 'Incredibly Unfair'

Jo Elvin, host of Royals Uncensored, was joined by former royal butler Grant Harold and commentator Kinsey Schofield, who believes it is "incredibly unfair" that the King has left his eldest son, William, to "deal with the mess".

Jo said: "There are some fresh reports suggesting that Harry is keen to keep building bridges. Apparently, there are more visits in the works and there are rumours Harry and Meghan are considering a public apology to end the feud. We know the King's door is ajar but William's is firmly shut with a chair propped up firmly against the door."

King's Motives Questioned

Kinsey suggested King Charles is potentially "smoothing the path" in a bid to end the feud and to protect the royal's legacy. It comes after the Sussexes' recent UK return where the couple reportedly agreed to a list of terms in order to keep the peace and reconcile with the family.

This included Harry and Meghan's meeting with the King being "strictly private" with "no cameras, no subsequent Instagram posts, no revelations in interviews afterwards," according to the Daily Mail.

"I think it's more selfish than that," Kinsey explained. "The King doesn't want to be remembered for cutting off his son and for not trying to make it work. I think he is selfish when it comes to William."

William Left to Deal with 'Mess'

The royal commentator suggested Charles reconciling with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has blindsided William. She went on: "We're confident that behind the scenes William wants nothing to do with Harry and Meghan and thinks they're a liability to the future of the monarchy. To leave William to deal with this mess... it's incredibly unfair!"

Kinsey suggested it was wrong for Charles to leave William with the Harry and Meghan "mess" when he eventually takes the throne, adding the Sussexes will continue with their "shenanigans". The pair recently travelled with their two youngsters to reconnect with King Charles and Queen Camilla in the UK, indicating they might be making progress towards healing the rift.
