Diana is dressed in a pink and white striped summer dress, while Charles wears blue shorts and a grey and blue striped polo shirt.
Princess Diana died on 31 August 1997 at the age of 36, alongside her boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed and driver Henry Paul, when their car crashed in the Alma underpass in Paris. The anniversary has prompted an outpouring of support from fans, with many commenting on Charles's post to express their admiration for Diana and their condolences to the Spencer family.

The tribute comes days after Prince Harry released the latest episode of his podcast series Heart of Invictus, in which he discussed his inability 'to feel or cry' following his mother's death. In a previous episode, Harry admitted he had not realised how much trauma he still carried from losing Diana when he was just 12 years old.
