Big Brother stars Elsa Rae and Marcus John have become parents for the first time, welcoming a baby boy named Marley Isaac Mark John. The couple, who met on the ITV show last year, announced the birth on social media on October 4.
Elsa, 22, shared the happy news with fans, posting a series of snaps from hospital. One picture showed the new mum sitting in a hospital bed with baby Marley and Marcus, 23, while she breastfed their newborn. Other photos showed Marcus beaming in medical scrubs following the birth, as well as the pair sharing a kiss.
Announcing Marley's arrival
Elsa captioned the post: "Marley Isaac Mark John - Born 02.10.26, our greatest creation [blue heart]." Hours later, she shared more adorable pictures of herself and her son, including one showing her and Marcus preparing to leave hospital.
She wrote: "Best day of our lives, hearts so full." Marcus also shared a sweet snap of himself gazing at his newborn son, with the baby's face covered by a heart emoji. He captioned it: "locked in for life".
Congratulatory messages from fellow housemates
The couple were quickly flooded with congratulations from their fellow Big Brother stars. Celebrity Big Brother star Jojo Siwa wrote: "Omg!!! Congratulations", while Zelah Glasson, who appeared on the same series as Elsa and Marcus, added: "Awww guys congratulations and welcome Marley."
Teja Dalphy joked that Elsa was "still serving straight after giving birth", while Big Brother winner Ali Bromley simply wrote: "Congratulations". Other former housemates including Sam Ashby, Feyisola Akintoye, Jenny Baird and Emily Hewertson also sent their best wishes.
Even controversial housemate George Gilbert, who was forced to leave the house early last year, joined in with the congratulations.
Romance that proved doubters wrong
Elsa and Marcus first met while appearing on Big Brother in 2025, with content creator Elsa and engineer Marcus quickly hitting it off. Their romance began during the show, with the pair even going on a first date while one of them was locked in a cage in the garden.
At the time, some viewers suspected they were simply enjoying a "showmance". But the couple soon proved the doubters wrong. Just six months after leaving the house, they revealed they were expecting their first child, sharing a picture of their baby scan online. "We've been keeping a little secret...our bubba due October 2026! We are so very excited."
The pair have since also announced their engagement. Marcus is said to have proposed during a picnic, where the couple also discovered they were expecting a boy. Elsa later showed off her diamond engagement ring, describing it as the "most special ring".
