Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has broken his silence on social media with a heartfelt birthday tribute to his wife, Princess Beatrice, just days after he notably failed to post about their wedding anniversary.
On Saturday, Edoardo took to Instagram to mark Beatrice's 38th birthday, sharing a series of photographs of the couple. The images included a dressed-up shot on a beach, a picture from Peter and Harriet Phillips' wedding this summer, and two relaxed selfies in the sunshine.
Gushing tribute
In the caption, he wrote: "Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love you so much. You make our world (earth emoji). Love E,W,S,A xxxx." He also added three pink heart emojis.
The post comes after Edoardo, fondly known as Edo, did not upload anything on the couple's sixth wedding anniversary earlier this month. This caught the attention of royal fans, as he usually posts a sweet message to his wife every year, with the only exception being in 2022 on their second anniversary.

While the lack of an anniversary post may have concerned fans, the birthday tribute has delighted many, showing the couple seem as loved-up as ever. One fan responded: "Beautiful couple." Private celebrations
It is not known how Beatrice spent her birthday this weekend, but it is likely she enjoyed private celebrations with her husband and children, Sienna and Athena. Edo's son Wolfie would probably have been part of the celebrations for his stepmother.
Beatrice's birthday comes less than a week after her sister Princess Eugenie gave birth to her third child in Portugal, a baby girl whose name is yet to be revealed. It is not known if Beatrice has flown to see her niece, but Edo did post heart emojis under Eugenie's announcement post.
