Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly supporting each other through the ongoing scandal surrounding their father, Prince Andrew. A lipreader claimed that in November 2025, Beatrice told her younger sister, 'We're in this together, don't forget that,' as they were pictured hugging in Mayfair.
The sisters have been regulars at royal occasions, including Kate Middleton's Together at Christmas service. Royal expert Katie Nicholl noted that Beatrice's wedding in July 2020 was a strategic display of royal loyalty, with the Queen loaning her a historic tiara and a vintage Norman Hartnell dress.
Beatrice has historically been seen as a pillar of the family, particularly close to her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen made a rare lockdown exception to attend Beatrice's wedding and regularly invited her to major events, such as the Royal Maundy service in 2012.
Katie Nicholl suggested that the sisters may strike out more independently in future, creating some distance from Andrew. 'Even though he's their father, the reality is that his reputation has become damaging and toxic,' she said. 'These are young women with their own successful careers, and I'm sure they just want to get on with that.'
