Beatrice and Eugenie Fight Back After Parents Humiliation

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are “fighting back” as they try to stand firm amid their parents’ humiliation following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The daughters of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson have kept a low profile in recent months, but earlier this month they made an appearance in the Cotswolds to attend Peter Phillips’ wedding to his new wife, Harriet.

Despite reports claiming there are different views within the Royal Family about the princesses’ future, Beatrice and Eugenie were seen being warmly welcomed by the rest of the royals. And now a royal expert has claimed there was one particular member of the Firm who offered a rare olive branch during the nuptials, Prince William.

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe told New magazine: “The princesses are fighting back; they are clearly determined not to let their parents ruin things for them.”

He added: “The way William greeted the sisters was a genuine reflection of William's attitude towards them. I don't think he blames them.

“While he won't even look Andrew in the eye, he's happy to kiss them, publicly, which is massive.”

It comes as reports claimed Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is “furious” with his brother, King Charles, over his latest fall from grace. The former Duke of York has been banished into royal exile in Norfolk, where he limits himself to the King’s vast Sandringham Estate.

His last appearance was him driving his car, sporting a mysterious, large bruise on the right side of his face. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing.

But according to reports, the former prince has had enough with his brother’s heavy-handedness and is bracing to fight back in what is dubbed a “right royal battle”. The Daily Mail reported: “Increasingly furious at what he sees as his brother the King’s heavy-handedness, Andrew is girding his loins for a right royal battle, one which now risks turning very ugly indeed.”

A source told the outlet: “Andrew has hardened considerably of late and believes he has been used as a scapegoat. He believes that the King has exceeded his authority and acted beyond his powers. He is beginning to fight back.”

The outlet claimed that his daughters’ powerful appearance at Peter Phillips’s wedding was his idea. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie made a full walk down the road to All Saints Church in the village of Kemble, as opposed to the rest of the royals, who were dropped off right by the entrance.

The outlet reported: “This was, make no mistake, a very clear attempt to reassert their royal status after months of turmoil sparked by their parents’ dramatic fall from grace and, more recently, the shocking revelation that despite not being working royals, the privileged pair have been living rent-free in royal homes.”

It added that behind the “extraordinary gesture of defiance,” it was none other than their father, who allegedly “emailed” his daughters and urged them not to just show their faces but “hold their heads high”.
