The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's children may one day question why they were kept apart from their royal relatives, according to Majesty Magazine editor-in-chief Ingrid Seward.
Ingrid Seward told The Sun: "I think the children could be really annoyed, not now, but when they grow up, with their father and mother."
"They could ask 'Why haven't you introduced me to my other life, my cousins, my heritage?' And I think that would be an awkward one for Harry and Meghan to explain."
A rare UK visit
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and now live in Montecito, California. Prince Harry has spoken publicly about his hopes for reconciliation with his family.
Harry visited the UK in July to mark the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games. During the trip, he met some of his family and brought his children with him. Harry, Meghan, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie were hosted by the King and Queen Camilla.
Security battle
The Duke of Sussex is reportedly planning to lobby the Home Secretary over his security arrangements. His security detail was withdrawn after he stepped down from royal duties, and he has spent years trying to regain protection for himself and his family, so far without success.
If an agreement for protection were reached, he could visit the UK more often.
King Charles and his grandchildren
King Charles has not been able to spend much time with his grandchildren since they were born. He has only seen Archie in person a handful of times and Lilibet just once, despite his reported desire to spend more time with them following his sudden health problems in 2024.
