Andy Lee Embraces Role as 'Fun Uncle' Amid Baby Rumours

Comedian and radio presenter Andy Lee has revealed he enjoys being the 'fun uncle' to his nephews and the children of his friend Hamish Blake, amid reports he and girlfriend Rebecca Harding are considering starting a family.

Speaking to OK! magazine on Thursday, the 36-year-old said he takes his role as the fun uncle seriously. When asked if he likes to 'rile up' Hamish's kids, Lee joked: 'That's generally my plan. It's the same when looking after my nephews! I usually just throw them around everywhere, get them as high as a kite and then say I have to go to avoid duty!'

Lee has even written a children's book, 'Do Not Open This Book', originally intended as a birthday gift for his nephew George. The book was later published after a friend in publishing showed it to other publishers who wanted to print it.

Last month, Woman's Day magazine published unconfirmed claims that Lee and Harding had 'decided to try for a baby'. A source alleged: 'Andy's such a family man and he and Bec are so in love, no one would be surprised if they were thinking about taking the next step.'

Lee began dating model Rebecca Harding in 2015 after she served him at a Melbourne café. The couple briefly separated in 2016 but are now reportedly stronger than ever.
