Vogue Williams Blames Irish Voting Ban for I'm A Celebrity Exit
Vogue Williams: Irish voting ban hurt my Jungle chances

Evicted I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Vogue Williams has pointed to a long-standing voting rule as a key factor in her early exit from the ITV reality show.

Irish Voting Exclusion 'Didn't Help'

The Irish presenter and model, who became the third celebrity to leave the jungle this series, stated that the prohibition on votes from the Republic of Ireland likely affected her chances. Vogue Williams, 40, told the Daily Mail that while she aimed to simply enjoy the experience, the lack of support from home was a disadvantage.

"I don't think it was helpful that Ireland couldn't vote," she said. "Had Ireland been allowed to vote, it probably would have been maybe slightly better for me." She revealed that numerous family members and friends were unable to participate in the public vote because they reside across the Irish Sea.

This issue has caused frustration among fans and contestants before. Last year, Irish campmates Maura Higgins and Barry McGuigan were eliminated in a double eviction, with many viewers believing the voting restriction contributed to their departure.

Managing Anxiety and Jungle Challenges

During her interview, Vogue also spoke candidly about managing her mental health in the demanding environment. She explained that her anxiety surfaced frequently while in camp, a condition she constantly manages and which was harder to control outside her comfort zone.

To cope, she maintained her exercise routine, including runs, which she finds crucial for her mental wellbeing. Her determination was tested during a now-infamous Bushtucker Trial. Vogue ate an entire pig's brain after a particularly difficult day, motivated by the need to win luxuries for camp and "get myself back on track."

The mother-of-three, who shares children Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, two with husband Spencer Matthews, also struggled with missing her family. Matthews is currently in Antarctica completing an endurance challenge.

Mystery Knee Injury Sparks Concern

Since leaving the jungle, Vogue has been spotted at the luxury Australian hotel housing the contestants' families. Observant fans noted a bandage on her knee during her final episodes, an injury that has not yet been publicly explained.

Last week, viewers took to social media to express their worry, with posts asking, "What has Vogue done to her knee? Looks painful," and "WHAT HAPPENED WITH VOGUE’S KNEE." The presenter was still wearing the bandage after her eviction.
