Former Traitors star Elen Wyn has revealed she is backing Michael Sheen in the current series of Celebrity Traitors, praising his performance so far.
Speaking to Wales Online on the red carpet of the BAFTA Cymru Awards on Sunday, October 4, 2026, Elen said: "I love it. I can't tell you how much I'm rooting for Michael Sheen. He's doing so well so far."
She added: "I love seeing another Welsh face on the show. It always brings me so much nostalgia. I can't believe I was actually there, so seeing other people there always brings a lot of nostalgia."
Advice for the Welsh actor
When asked what advice she had for Sheen, Elen said: "I mean, I don't think they'd want to take any advice from me, I didn't do very well. But keep calm, stay composed, don't get too immersed, and you've got this!"
The 25-year-old took part in the civilian edition of the BBC series in 2025, where she became known for her accurate instincts about formidable female traitors and for introducing fellow contestants to the Welsh language. However, she was the second contestant to be banished from the Scottish castle.
Life in the castle
Elen also revealed how difficult and long the days in the castle can be, saying: "The drive to where you sleep is a lot longer than you think. That is why everyone looks tired, it's a long drive."
After her time on the show, she spoke highly of the programme's welfare team and how they made sure she was comfortable with her endometriosis.
She said: "The producers and the welfare team up in Inverness were amazing with me because they were aware that I had endometriosis. They were very accommodating. I told them exactly what I like to consume on a day-to-day basis, and they did accommodate me to the best of their ability, and I'm really grateful for that."
Plans for winnings
Elen had planned to use any winnings towards surgery for her endometriosis, but she departed the series early.
She said: "Being in the castle itself, that game was not for me. I did struggle in there. However, I have met the most amazing people. It was the nature of the game that didn't suit me, but the actual people in there were amazing on and off camera. That cast, there were so many amazing people in there. I've made friends for life and I have so much love for them, you wouldn't believe."
Celebrity Traitors is available to watch on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
