Former contestant Harriet Tyce could not contain her triumphant delight after discovering the truth about her fellow players on BBC's hit show The Traitors. The crime writer and ex-barrister, who was dramatically banished as a Faithful, was finally shown the identities of the show's liars on the spin-off programme Uncloaked.
A Moment of Vindication
In a clip aired on Wednesday, 15th January 2026, the 52-year-old opened a sealed envelope revealing the names of the treacherous duo. Upon seeing Rachel's name listed, Harriet burst into laughter. "It's Rachel, it's Rachel. Oh!" she exclaimed. "Sorry, forgive me, it's just really nice to be right."
Harriet went on to express her hope that her actions had damaged Rachel's credibility, stating she could now wholeheartedly cheer on the remaining Faithful. She also learned that Stephen, from the Isle of Lewis, was the other Traitor, offering a wry compliment on his performance.
The Kamikaze Confrontation That Led to Banishment
Harriet's exit earlier in the episode was one of the most explosive in the series. During a tense breakfast, she directly confronted Rachel, accusing her of being a Traitor. In a bold move, she also revealed her own background as a published psychological thriller author and former criminal barrister to the hidden Traitors, warning them she was coming for Rachel.
This confrontation led to a dramatic roundtable where, despite her pleas, her fellow players grew suspicious of her behaviour and voted to banish her. With the most votes against her, she confirmed she was a Faithful. "It's a kamikaze move, I appreciate that," she said upon leaving, "but I wanted to ensure you all knew who I really was... I am, and have always been, a faithful."
Aftermath and a Shielded Twist
Following Harriet's dramatic departure, the confirmed Traitors, Rachel and Stephen, were visited by host Claudia Winkleman in the turret. They were given the option to murder or recruit another player and chose to murder.
However, in a twist of fate, they were unaware that two of the three players on their shortlist—Jessie and James—had won shields in the latest mission. This left only Sam unprotected and potentially in their crosshairs for elimination.
The Traitors continues on BBC One and iPlayer at 8pm.
