The Traitors star Harriet has revealed her fears of 'humiliation' following her dramatic exit from the BBC series. The crime novelist's time on the Claudia Winkleman programme ended after an explosive episode on Wednesday night (January 14).
Harriet entered a church to meet with traitors Stephen and Rachel, whose identities were hidden. She shared her real jobs with them before asking which players they were going to recruit. She was told it would be either her, Jessie or Sam. Harriet responded angrily, saying she felt taken for a fool.
At the roundtable, Harriet debated Rachel about whether she was a traitor and urged others to vote for her to prove her point. Swiftly voted off, Harriet said it was a 'kamikaze move' to ensure everyone knew who she really was.
On the spin-off show Uncloaked, Harriet learned that Stephen was a traitor and burst into laughter upon confirmation that Rachel was also a traitor. She said: 'It's Rachel... it's just really nice to be right.' Harriet admitted she wasn't entirely sure of her suspicions, calling it a 'frightening moment' and saying if she had been wrong, it would have been 'the biggest humiliation' of her life.
Harriet described herself as a 'crumbling wreck' after the vote, having put everything on her theory. She praised the traitors for being 'so clever' in their mind games, noting that they told her in the confessional booth they wouldn't turn on Rachel, leaving her unsure what to do.
