Traitors 2026: Hannah Fry banished, Kenny recruited in episode five

The latest episode of Celebrity Traitors saw Hannah Fry banished as a Traitor, Rob Beckett murdered in plain sight, and Kenny recruited to the Traitors' ranks.

Rob Beckett murdered in plain sight

The episode opened with the murder of comedian Rob Beckett, carried out by the Traitors in full view of the other contestants during a game of hide and seek. James Acaster, Maya Jama, and Hannah Fry correctly deduced that singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock would be saved from murder by a key given by her fellow Faithful. They chose to murder Rob to spread chaos around the castle.

Upon learning his fate, Rob said: "It's over. I’m a dead man. And in a way this is good news for the Faithfuls because I was nowhere near getting Maya Jama and James Acaster. No chance! My boy Romesh Ranganathan will avenge my death!"

Round Table banishment

The remaining celebrities gathered for breakfast, with the Faithfuls trying to unravel the Traitors' latest move. Ross Kemp and Romesh Ranganathan came under suspicion after surviving the previous night's murder, while James Blunt was suspected for his role in the banishment of Julie Hesmondhalgh at the previous round table.

During the challenge, contestants escaped from the "Death Parade," banking £8,000. However, all three Traitors, along with Romesh, Jerry Hall, and Joanne McNally, were forced into a cage to allow the others to secure the cash. They were not released until the Round Table.

At the Round Table, tensions rose. Ross was accused of being in "Traitor situations," and Hannah pointed at James Blunt for his voting methods. Joanne nearly slipped up when Ross described the previous night's near-murder as an "awful experience," and she chimed in, "It was horrible," suggesting she might have been involved.

Hannah banished, Kenny recruited

Hannah tried to talk her way out of banishment for the second night in a row but was ultimately voted out, with James and Maya both voting to banish their fellow Traitor. Standing before the round table, she said: "This has been so much fun! I came in here with absolutely one job and one job only on my mind, and that was to catch Traitors. And I calculated every conceivable scenario, except for the one that actually unfolded."

She then revealed she had been a Traitor, prompting wild celebrations from the other contestants. In her exit interview, Hannah said: "My fellow traitors - they had to vote for me, it was so clearly going in that direction."

Joe Lycett spent much of the evening begging to be recruited, but when James and Maya returned to the Traitor's turret, they chose Kenny. Kenny fell to his knees upon discovering that James and Maya had been pulling the strings all along. He said: "I think being a Faithful was fun, but being a Traitor is going to be better. The Faithfuls are doomed!"

The episode ended with Kenny laughing maniacally, leaving the Faithfuls to react at breakfast the next morning.
