The BBC has confirmed that the fourth series of the award-winning psychological reality game 'The Traitors' will premiere on New Year's Day at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the show will see 22 contestants from across the UK gather at a Scottish castle to compete for a prize of up to £120,000.
The series promises more twists, turns, secrets, epic missions, deception, banishments, and murders. The first few episodes will air on BBC One, with each episode becoming available on iPlayer after broadcast.
For fans wanting more, the companion podcast 'The Traitors: Uncloaked' will return, hosted by Ed Gamble. It will air on BBC Two immediately after the main series on Thursday 1 January at 9.05pm, then move to BBC One from Friday 2 January at 9pm. The podcast will also be available on BBC Sounds and iPlayer, featuring celebrities and former players analysing the latest developments.
'The Traitors' is produced by Studio Lambert Scotland for BBC One and iPlayer. The fourth series was commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment Commissioning for the BBC. The original format was created by IDTV in cooperation with RTL Creative Unit.
