The Deadly Turret Gamble
Faced with the critical decision of who to murder, Traitors Rachel and Stephen found themselves in a precarious position. They had to deduce which of three players—Adam, James, or Jessie—had failed to win a protective shield during the day's mission. Selecting someone who actually possessed a shield would have been disastrous, immediately casting suspicion on the unharmed duo at the breakfast table.
Stephen openly admitted their odds were a mere '33% chance' of success. Despite the low probability, the pair settled on Adam. To their relief, their risky move paid off; Adam was unprotected, sealing his fate in the game.
Upon receiving his fateful 'murder' letter, Adam lamented the irony of his situation. As a professional ghost-hunter, he noted he had now 'become one of the spirits himself.' His death also redirected anger towards fellow Faithful James, who had dishonestly claimed to have a shield the previous day.
Harriet's Banishment and Regrets
Adam's murder followed the dramatic banishment of Faithful Harriet in Wednesday's episode. Speaking exclusively to The Sun after her exit, Harriet shared mixed feelings about her departure.
'On the one hand, I'm gutted not to have got further,' she confessed. 'I haven't won therefore I've lost so it's hard not to see it that way. But on the other hand, I could not have asked for more action!'
Harriet expressed pride in her assertive gameplay, stating she left on her own terms. 'I'd take my short-lived game any day' over reaching the final while being deceived, she asserted.
A Barrister's Failed Case
Harriet's exit was preceded by a fiery roundtable where she directly targeted Rachel. Using her skills as a former barrister, she meticulously presented her case, accusing Rachel of being 'in character' since the game's first moments.
However, Rachel had a stunning counter-revelation. She disclosed that she had been trained by a former FBI agent to analyse micro-expressions and detect lies, claiming she had profiled every player. This secret weapon swayed the group's opinion.
Seeing the tide turn against her, Harriet made a final, bold play. She asked the others to vote her out to prove her loyalty as a Faithful—a request they ultimately granted.
