Viewers of The Chase all made the same observation during the latest new episode of the ITV quiz show, hosted by Bradley Walsh.
Monday, 7 September's instalment featured contestants Victor, 50, a photographer from Great Yarmouth, Sadie, 26, a pharmacy assistant from Stockport, James, 41, a copywriter from Coventry, and Amy, 38, a barrister originally from Hereford.
Cash Builder elimination
During the Cash Builder round, Sadie was eliminated, leaving Victor, James and Amy to take on Chaser Anne Hegerty in the final round.
The remaining contestants also faced disappointment as the episode drew to a close, with Anne catching the team with just six seconds to spare.
Viewers react on social media
Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to say the same thing about the latest new episode. One person said: "It's finally here - brand new episodes of #TheChase!" while a different account put: "New series finally #TheChase."
Elsewhere, another viewer put: "A new episode thank goodness #TheChase" while a different fan wrote: "Actual NEW episodes of #Thechase ?"
A different show watcher commented: "#TheChase So this episode is new and broadcast for the 1st time then" while another fan put: "Brand new #thechase."
Chaser shares excitement
Chaser Mark Labbett also shared his excitement, writing on Twitter, now X: "Great to a see new episode of #thechase today :)"
Replying to the tweet, one person said: "Agreed - it's been too long!" while a different fan added: "We've waited long enough!"
The Chase continues on weeknights at 5pm on ITV and ITV X.
