Ten years after it first aired, Teen Mom UK is marking its milestone anniversary with one of its most nostalgic series yet — and it is bringing back a familiar face for the occasion.
Paramount Plus has confirmed that series 14 will launch on September 1, just days after the Teen Mom UK: Next Generation finale wraps up on August 25, meaning fans will not have to wait long before their next fix of the reality franchise.
Shannon Wise Returns
In hugely exciting news for long-time fans of the main show, the streaming giant has confirmed the return of Shannon Wise. The reality star, now aged 27, walked away from the show before its seventh series but will return for the upcoming instalment.
She is now a mum to three children - Theodore, Frankie and Ariyah — and recently shared a sweet Instagram post marking Frankie's seventh birthday.
"Watching you grow into the kind, funny, and amazing little boy you are today has been the greatest privilege. You make every day brighter, and I’m so proud to be your mummy," she penned. "I love you more than words could ever say. Have the best birthday, my darling."
Cast and Synopsis
She will be joined in series 14 by fellow returning cast members Amber Butler, Chloe Patton and Mia Boardman. The official synopsis sets the tone for what promises to be an emotional series, stating: "It's been 10 incredible years of Teen Mom UK!"
"This series we see the return of an old face which means an emotional time for the girls. It's a mix of celebrations, heartbreak and friendship but most importantly the highs and lows of being a mom."
Spin-off and Next Steps
The anniversary run arrives hot on the heels of a busy year for the franchise. Series 13 wrapped up in July, and Teen Mom UK: Next Generation — the show's spin-off — is currently airing its fourth series on Paramount Plus, with its penultimate episode having dropped today (August 18).
The season introduced two new young mothers to viewers: 17-year-old Tigi Hasson and 18-year-old Terriann Evans. The spin-off's own description states: "There's a new generation of teen moms on the scene."
"Baby daddy drama, family feuds and mothering missteps are just the start for our girls. But birthdays, first steps, first words and all the cuddles in the world make the struggle worth it."
