Nikita Kuzmin has publicly shared a sweet message about his celebrity dance partner Dani Dyer as the pair prepare to return to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom for week four of the competition this weekend.
Week three results and eliminations
It was on Saturday night (October 10) that the famous ballroom welcomed back the remaining 14 couples for week three of the BBC One dance contest, with each couple trying to pull out their best performances in a bid to avoid the next elimination. Chris Appleton became the first contestant to exit the show earlier this month, alongside his professional partner Amy Dowden.
Sadly, it was Melanie Walters who saw her time on the show come to an end. After finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard the previous week, the actress performed a Charleston to Ooh Ahh… Just A Little Bit by Gina G with her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec, and they were awarded a total of 17 points.
Dani and Nikita secure their place
It means 13 couples are now safely through to week four of Strictly 2026, with one of those being Dani and Nikita. The former Love Island winner made a triumphant return to Strictly after being forced to withdraw from the show last year before the first week of the competition had even taken place.
They secured their place in another week of the competition after performing a Tango to 'Show Me Love' by Robin S, which seemingly went down well with the judges. After some positive remarks, Shirley Ballas encouraged Dani to "keep working on the details but well done," while Anton Du Beke said she was a "very nice dancer" but gave her some tips on how to improve her head position.
Training and supportive message
Dani and Nikita have since headed back into training ahead of the next live show on Saturday (October 17). Showing his support for his dance partner, Nikita took to social media with a video of their latest performance, filmed from the edge of the ballroom floor, and said: "Just wanna say how proud I’m of you @danidyerxx. Started from 0 and every week, every day embracing everything that I am throwing at you, improving so much and most importantly doing it all with a big smile on your face!"
He added: "So excited to start the new dance and see you smash it again. New week 3 vlog is out (link in bio) if you want to see Dani’s progress and other bits through the week #teamdoubletrouble."
Dani issued a gushing response, commenting on the post: "Thank you for being the best teacher I could ever ask for and all the laughs we have.. Just so grateful for our journey together.. having the best time."
