Strictly Come Dancing viewers have urged producers to keep Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe as a presenting duo after they opened the first Results Show together. The pair, who have taken over from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman alongside Josh Widdicombe, were praised for their chemistry as they discussed Saturday's show with the judges.
Fans call for permanent pairing
Taking to social media, one viewer on X wrote: "JoJo and Emma finally presenting together. Now can we have them downstairs on the main show please." Another added: "Emma Willis & Johannes Radebe are the only presenters the show needs. A respected individual with years of presenting on her CV & a fantastic dancer with charisma & enthusiasm flowing out of his pores #Strictly."
A third fan said: "This is showing that it should be just Emma and Johannes they’ve had more Chemistry in a few minutes then two weeks of Josh. Emma upstairs and Johannes."
Josh Widdicombe divides opinion
However, when Emma descended from the Clauditorium to reveal the votes, she was replaced by Josh, who joined Johannes to chat with the celebrities. His appearance once again split viewers, with one saying: "Absolutely love Josh widdicombe but I feel like he should be on it takes too, he feels a little outta place on the main show."
But not all feedback was negative. One viewer claimed: "I’ve never thought I’d say it, but @bbcstrictly is better without Tess and Claudia. It seems like it’s got a new lease of life with the new presenters. #strictly." Another added: "#Strictly Josh is so much Better up there…"
