The outcome of this week's Strictly Come Dancing elimination has been leaked online. The BBC contest has returned for the 2026 series and the first celebrity reportedly facing departure has been allegedly revealed.
The pre-recorded Sunday evening results programme is filmed immediately following the live Saturday night broadcast, which means that spoilers frequently emerge on the internet disclosing who has departed.
Spoiler website reveals axed couples
The Strictly spoiler has been unveiling the identity of the axed couples on their website every Saturday night since 2012, much to the dismay of the Strictly team and judge Anton Du Beke, who previously suggested it is "ruining" the show for fans.
And it appears the 2026 series is no different as an insider has posted to the Strictly spoiler website sharing precise information about what transpired, although Wales Online has chosen not to report the details they've revealed.
Fans react to leaked result
Following the leak of the elimination, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to voice their opinions. One person said they were "devastated" over the result while another viewer added they were "surprised".
The official outcome will be announced in tonight's programme [4 October] on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Leaderboard and show highlights
It comes as Saturday's leaderboard saw Gavin and Stacey's Melanie Walters at the bottom of the leaderboard following the judges' disappointment with both her routines thus far.
Meanwhile, Delta Goodrem and professional partner Kai Widdrington secured a position near the top, establishing themselves as audience favourites since the series launched one week ago.
Elsewhere on Saturday's show, Strictly Come Dancing's John Nellis revealed some wonderful news during the latest live broadcast on 3 October ahead of performing with partner Katya Jones for another routine, reports the Daily Star.
Prior to presenting his Movie Week performance, the star disclosed that he and his wife Shannon are expecting a baby.
He said: "The hardest part of my job, and it genuinely breaks my heart, is the amount of time I spend away from family. I miss my wife more than you can imagine, and my son."
"And our family is growing. We're having another baby in February. I want a big family."
"I want big Christmases and big parties like I grew up. I just genuinely had the most blessed childhood ever."
Strictly Come Dancing's results show airs tonight on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
