Reality TV star Olivia Attwood has made a candid admission about her marriage, declaring her primary New Year's resolution for 2025 is to become a 'better wife' to her footballer husband, Bradley Dack.
Joking Confession on Podcast
The 33-year-old former Love Island contestant made the revealing statement during an appearance on Alan Carr and Lee Peart's Bottoms Up! podcast, which was broadcast on New Year's Eve. Attwood quipped that she 'couldn't be a worse spouse', setting a humorous yet pointed tone for her relationship goals.
She told the hosts: 'I would like to be softer this year. If people could be less annoying in 2026, stop being stupid.' Directly addressing her marriage, she added: 'I'd like to be a better wife but I just don't see that happening. How could I be worse?'
Navigating Rumours and Reality
The couple, who tied the knot in June 2023, have faced persistent speculation about the state of their union over the past year. Both have openly discussed overcoming a series of challenges, compounded by a house move and Attwood's demanding career in television and media.
Despite her resolution to improve as a partner, Attwood was firm on one point: she has no plans to curb her social life. 'My new year's resolution... yeah I'd like to be softer. I was going to say I'd like to party less but I've changed my mind on that,' she confessed. When questioned about slowing down her work commitments, she responded bluntly: 'No, my god. I love money, do you know what I mean?'
Addressing the Speculation Head-On
Last month, Attwood chose humour to tackle the divorce rumours directly. On Instagram, she posted a skit parodying a famous Gossip Girl scene set to Jason Derulo's 'Watcha Say'. In the video, as the camera panned to Bradley Dack, a caption asked: 'Are you and Olivia getting a divorce?' before he dramatically stormed away from a dinner table.
However, behind the jokes lies a more complex reality. Olivia has been transparent with her fans about the difficulties, stating in a recent Instagram Q&A: 'He's alive I swear. 10 years of us. A lot has changed. Marriage is frikinnn hard (no one wants to say that part out loud)... We are doing our thing.'
In a November interview, she admitted understanding why Dack was 'upset' after seeing photos of her holidaying in Ibiza with her friend and colleague, Pete Wicks. She reiterated that while their relationship is 'not perfect', they are very much together, describing the last six months as 'really challenging'.
'Me and Brad never pretend to have a perfect relationship, we have been up, down, left, backwards,' she told the Daily Mail. 'My work and his work take precedence over everything, we have to navigate our relationship all the time.'
